FAQs

What is the process for working with you?
I’m all about a process! Having a good process in place helps a project run smoothly and creates successful partnerships with understanding and transparency. Below is a summary of the client process:
A strong brand strategy provides clarity and moves your business forward. Diving into your brand's core, uncovering deep insights about your viewer base, as well as project-specific goals, finding fresh ideas and uncovering new stories are what will lift a brand out of the ordinary.
Project process overview
One. Get in touch
We translate your brand positioning visually using a range of visual building blocks - from logos and typography, through to colour, illustration and animation.
Two. Kick off call
Before signing on the dotted line or paying any money, we jump on a 30-minute call to discuss the scope of your project, deliverables, budgets, timeframes etc…
Three. Project proposal
This will outline the deliverables and the cost for you to sign. Once signed, I will send a contract, any relevant strategy documentation, and a 50% deposit invoice. We can only proceed once these have been signed, filled out and paid.
Four. Strategy and Discovery call
Once step 3 has been completed, I will provide you access with your Brand portal on Notion. Here you will have access to the full schedule, project phases, documents and tasks. I will ask you to fill out a pre-discovery questionnaire will will serve as the foundation of our Discovery call. In this call, we dive into your values, ethos, audience profiles, goals and much more. These insights will be vital in moving onto step 5.
Five. Design time
After our Discovery call, I will break down the brief, research, sketch out initial ideas, develop these ideas and collate them into a presentation, ready for stage 6.
Six. Presentation
A couple of weeks may have passed since I received all the information I needed. Now it’s time to walk you through the steps taken to get me to the design(s) that I present. I will send you the deck afterwards so you can peruse it at your leisure and provide feedback.
Seven. Feedback or done
Any required amendments will be made in this phase. These amends can either be emailed to you or presented if the work requires more explanation. If there are no amendments, then we’re on to final sign-off.
Eight. Sign off
Once you’ve signed off the design, I’ll share the final invoice and once this has been paid, I’ll send all the files and assets in a very well-organised folder structure for you to start signing straight away!

After our project wraps up, I make it a point to touch base with my clients a few months later to see how things are going for you. So keep an eye out for me in your inbox!
Why do I need professional branding?
There are many options online for quick and easy logos, but your brand is more than your logo. Creating a brand identity is about creating a feel, a response to your brand or business. It’s making you recognisable to your audience and creating a cohesive, consistent brand experience for your audience. I’ve spent years doing just this for many clients. It’s nearly impossible to do this with only a logo designed on Canva. You only get one chance to make a first impression, so let's make it count!
Maintaining and growing your brand is an essential next step, and I am here to help. Whether it's for an upcoming photo shoot, a new social media campaign, or a yearly brand audit, I will be there to help ensure your branding remains true to your brand goals and consistent across all your communications.
Freelancer or Agency?
There are pros and cons to both options. I personally like being able to work directly with a client throughout the full life cycle of a project and not have the project passed between different departments. Us freelancers are also cheaper than an agency!

How much does it
cost to work with you?
It’s hard to put an exact number on a project without first knowing the scope. I offer two areas of expertise, Brand identity design and strategy, and Website design. Each of these has a different level of scope depending on your requirements.

What are your
turnaround times?
This varies based on the size of the project, the number of revisions, the speed of feedback etc… With everything going to plan, a Brand identity project with strategy could be concluded in 3-4 weeks, with an additional 4 weeks for a custom Website.

Where have you
worked in the past?
I've been involved with multiple in-house design teams and creative consultancies in London. There, I worked with some of the largest businesses and brands in the world, from Burberry, Haleon and Natwest. I have also contracted for King's College London and the Imperial War Museum. But I have also freelanced for multiple years, where I've had the opportunity to work with some fantastic people in the sustainable tech start-up industry and small to medium-sized businesses in the world of sailing, construction and the music industry.
